International Business Administration (IBA)

Starts: Once a year, on the 1st of August with a 2 monthly working period in the corresponding partner company.

Working phase: You will be introduced to, and actively support task fields in different sectors of your company ranging from marketing & sales to logistics, purchase, accounting, financial controlling and human resource management.

Studying phase: The first studying phase starts in October at the Fachhochschule Ludwigshafen am Rhein. Attendance at lectures will let you gain sound knowledge of international business studies.

Term abroad: The highlight of the fourth semester is the integrated term abroad. It starts in early May and takes until late September. The obligatory term abroad is a core element of our courses of study. During their term abroad the students of „International Business Administration“ (IBA) will work in one of the corresponding partner companies' subsidiaries and are actively involved in challenging projects. This allows students to not only get to know the academic world, but also to practice professionally on an international level, thus preparing them optimally for working within or outside of Europe.

Partner Companies: A selection of the partner companies that participate with the Fachhochschule Ludwigshafen am Rhein in the dual course of study „International Business Administration“ can be found here.
Degree: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in International Business Administration.

Credits: All credit points are based on the ECTS (European Credit Transfer System). Students have to successfully participate in classes to gather credit points in order to obtain the degree.

Credits for US Master degrees:
Credit points obtained during the International Business Administration (IBA) degree can be used for one of our US-American Master degrees. Additional courses are held in our classrooms in Ludwigshafen. Classes are held from professors educating in different US- Colleges.
