International Business Administration and Information Technology (IBAIT)
Starts: Once a year, on the 1st of August with a 2 monthly working period in the corresponding partner company.
Working phase: You will be introduced to, and actively support task fields in different sectors of your company, such as information management, software development, marketing & sales, financial controlling etc.
Studying phase: The first studying phase starts in October at the Fachhochschule Ludwigshafen am Rhein. Attendance at lectures will let you gain sound knowledge of international business studies, information technologies and software development.
Term abroad: One of the core elements of the degree in International Business Administration and Information Technology (IBAIT) in the fifth working phase is the obligatory stay abroad in China for 2 months. Students will enhance their knowledge in information systems at a partner university in Shanghai. Additionally the student is free to have a working phase in a subsidiary abroad.
Partner Companies: The dual degree in International Business Administration and Information Technology (IBAIT) is currently offered in cooperation with our partner companies BASF SE, SAP AG, Woellner and Simona.
Degree: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in the course of study
International Business Administration and Information Technology (IBAIT).
Credits: All credit points are based on the ECTS (European Credit Transfer System). Students have to successfully participate in classes to gather credit points in order to obtain the degree.
Credits for US Master degrees:
Credit points obtained during the International Business Administration (IBA) degree can currently not be used for one of our US-American Master degrees.
